As the newsletter author, I want to have a contribution from @kmkinnaird so that everyone who reads the newsletter will know all about the cool things that @kmkinnaird has been doing.
Acceptance Criteria: This task is done when:
- @kmkinnaird has contributed a paragraph under their name in the Faculty Updates section of sds_newsletter_2026.qmd file, and;
- the corresponding pull request is tagged to this issue.
You can also just paste your update here (in Markdown!) and @beanumber will create the pull request for you.
