Description

Add Workday integration to sync HR and finance data including employee records, job requisitions, time-off requests, benefits, and recruiting activity into CORE.

Workday API Integration

OAuth Setup

• Use OAuth 2.0 authorization (register API client in Workday, grant scopes, obtain access + refresh tokens)
• Base URL: https://{TENANT}.workday.com/api/
• REST Services Directory: https://community.workday.com/sites/default/files/file-hosting/restapi/

• Add error handling and rate limiting

Technical Notes

• Workday REST API is tenant-specific (URL includes tenant identifier)
• Data returned in JSON format
• Growing range of endpoints covering HR automation, person management, recruiting, time tracking
• Some documentation may be restricted to Workday customers/partners
• Consider handling large datasets with pagination for enterprise deployments
• SOAP-based Web Services also available but REST is recommended for new integrations
