I think that executing the "Send Location" action in CLion (or other JetBrains IDE) should switch focus to the SourceTrail application and bring its window to the foreground. That's what I intuitively expected, and it would be convenient: whenever I execute "Send Location", the next step I want to take is to look at that location in SourceTrail.

Investigate how Sourcetrail handles window activation. Look at the main window class (likely in src/...) and find the method to bring window to front. The plugin triggers an action via IPC; ensure that the main window is raised when receiving the signal. Check if there is a platform specific call like raise() or activateWindow(). Consult Qt documentation on QWidget::activateWindow().
