  • I have searched the issues of this repo and believe that this is not a duplicate

Issue

Launching Hyper briefly opens a terminal window and the attached error message. When OK is clicked, both error and terminal window close. Hyper remains running but no windows can be created.

I noticed the error message only occurs when Little Snitch intercepts the call to hyper.is on application launch. When Little Snitch is turned off a window silently opens then immediately closes.

Investigate the initial network request made by Hyper at launch that is intercepted by Little Snitch. Look at the main process initialization code in the repository (likely in `app/` or `src/`) to handle network failures gracefully, possibly by adding error handling for the `hyper.is` call. Consider implementing a timeout or fallback to prevent the window from crashing.
