For now Czkawka is only compiled on CI, but it will be really great to be able to run it inside CI to find possible (xvfb-run should help with GUI). Step with Valgrind also should be helpful(only with CLI, because GUI shows a lot of leak from GTK and SDL(Orbtk))

  • - CLI run(all possible commands - duplicate finder, empty folder finder etc.)
  • - GUI run(with xvfb-run)
  • - Valgrind

This issue requests adding execution of the Czkawka app in CI, beyond just compilation. The first step (CLI run) is complete. To implement, modify the CI workflow (likely in .github/workflows) to run the GUI binary using xvfb run and add a Valgrind step for the CLI to check for memory leaks. Note that Valgrind should only be run on CLI to avoid GTK/SDL false positives.
