Summary of the new feature/enhancement

Do not know the feasibility of this feature, but why to stop with the filenames, ideally it will also detect if all files have the same extension, read the writable properties of the files and allow to change them in batch.

Example for jpg, allow changing the subject, ratings, tags, date taken ... for mp4 files, authors, year, genre, parental ratings...

Proposed technical implementation details (optional)

  • Detect if all files have the same extension and properties/details.
  • When clicking on the PowerRenam offer the option to apply it to the filename or any other field detected.

Indaga su come PowerRename elabora attualmente i file e le loro proprietà. Esamina le API Windows Shell o IPropertyStore per leggere/scrivere i metadati dei file. Il problema suggerisce di rilevare le estensioni dei file e le proprietà comuni. Rivedi il codice esistente nella cartella della funzionalità PowerRename, in particolare i riferimenti a Microsoft.Windows.Storage o API simili.
