Sub-issue of #1303. Visual/layout audit of the two large settings-rows pages:

  • General — general-settings-page.tsx — story General
  • Appearance — appearance-settings-page.tsx — story Appearance

Shared surface: SettingsRow / SettingsSelect / SettingsSwitch / ChoiceCard / Segmented. Typical paper cuts: label truncation, control alignment, row wrapping. Scope and acceptance criteria: see #1303.
