Reproduction steps

  • install on ubuntu 22.04

when running you'll see stretchly cpu usage is among the highest of running apps and varies between ± 1 and 1.3 on a reasonably performant laptop

Perhaps there are ways to lower the cpu usage.

less cpu usage (± 0.5 - 0.7?)

fairly high cpu usage as described
