PyAthena added support for Catalogs in https://github.com/laughingman7743/PyAthena/issues/220 and it'd be great if redash also supported them.

What I think needs to be done:

  • Redash version: 10.0

The UI likely uses React components; search for Athena configuration forms in client/. Check migration files for adding new fields. The issue comments (18) discuss required changes and potential pitfalls.
