Mentors:

• We need more mentors for the borgbackup tasks (see ideas page).
• I personally can do backup mentoring, but will only be primary mentor for 1 student/project. For that project, a backup mentor is needed also.
• We do not know yet how many projects we will get from Google / PSF, but if a potential project has no potential primary mentor, it rather won't happen.

Students:

• If you have questions or remarks, please ask below (only about borgbackup tasks, vorta and borgmatic have separate sites).
• Get familiar with the code, tools and development workflow.
• Check this issue tracker and the labels, pick something you like (also check if somebody else is already working on it, see issue assignee and open PRs), open a pull request, watch the CI tests if they succeed, check for feedback from us.
