Editing just created link does not work in Firefox

Description

If I select word "World" in demo in Firefox 28 and I click on link button, and create a link, link is created and selection seemingly keeps link selected. But when I click on the link button again, to edit the link, I get initial empty dialog box.

In Chrome the same series of steps works.

Investigate why Firefox fails to retain the selected link after creation. Examine the link creation flow in Scribe's source (likely in plugins or core). Check the `onSelectionChanged` or similar event handlers for Firefox specific issues. Compare with Chrome behavior to identify the discrepancy. Review any existing Firefox workarounds in the codebase.
