##Bug: Learning badge can be earned without completing previous Codelab steps

Description

I found a progression/completion issue in this Codelab.

I was able to navigate directly to Step 8 — Clean up without completing the previous steps (Steps 1–7). After reaching the final step, the Codelab displayed the completion state and awarded me a Learning badge.

I verified that the badge was actually added to my Google Developers profile.

Steps to reproduce

1. Open the Codelab linked above while signed in.
2. Do not complete Steps 1–7.
3. Navigate directly to Step 8 — Clean up.
4. Continue through the final step/completion flow.
5. Observe that the Codelab displays the completion/congratulations state.
6. Check the Google Developers profile.
7. Observe that the Learning badge has been awarded despite the previous steps not being completed.

Expected behavior

The Codelab should only mark the learning activity as completed and award the associated badge after the required Codelab steps have been completed.

Actual behavior

The Codelab awards the Learning badge even when the preceding steps have not been completed.

Impact

This appears to allow users to obtain the Learning badge without actually completing the hands-on activities required by the Codelab.

I am reporting this because it may affect the integrity of Codelab completion tracking and Learning badge eligibility.

• The "You earned a Learning badge!" confirmation.
• The badge being added to my profile.
