Research direction
Start by locating the Emacs package implementation of google-java-format-region, then reproduce the issue with an active region. Trace how the region is passed to the formatter. Done means the command formats only the selected region rather than the whole buffer.

Description
This is found in the emacs package,
Now, command google-java-format-region always formats the whole buffer, the current active region seems being omitted and didn't take into consideration.
Tried to look into and understand the code, but didn't find anything I could find out..
Can help to look into it?
thanks :)
