Description

the current demo.gif dates back to gitui 0.7 (July 2020) and could use some refresh and maybe even some professional hand that adds some subtitles that explain what you see.

Record a new terminal session using the latest version of gitui (e.g., v0.23+), capturing typical git operations with clear key presses. Use a tool like asciinema to record and convert to GIF, or directly use a GIF recorder like Peek. Add subtitles explaining each command and its output. Replace the existing `demo.gif` file in the repository root and ensure it's referenced in the README. Review the current demo.gif location and any documentation that references it.
