There isn't any alternative to this program as far as I can fathom. I'm currently running this in a VM which is far from ideal. Thank you for your valiant efforts and consideration.

Check the nixpkgs repository for similar electron app packages to understand the required Nix expressions. The goal is to create a nix derivation that builds and installs the app correctly on NixOS.
