Description
I work in an environment that uses pagers to alert volenteers that they are required. It would be really useful to be able to receive the pages myself. I work in lots of different locations so there are lots of different capcodes.
Ideally I would like a way to select the station location I am at that day. This would then look up in a text file to find the capcode for that station. Then if a page came in for the station I am working at that day it would sound a loud tone on the Portapack. Basically a pager that can be reprogrmed on the fly
Currently I have a Raspberry Pi running pagermon at home and pushing the data to my phone but that only works at a small number of stations I happen to live close to.
I think this feature could be used by many people, especially if it gave a choice of selecting a saved capcode or entering your own on the fly.
