Description
Ambulance stations (tagged emergency=ambulance_station) are often community anchor institutions that maps may want to mark in a manner similar to fire and police stations. It could go in the poi layer with class set to ambulance_station.
Sometimes this tag is dual-tagged with amenity=fire_station on the same building. Though not ideal, if it isn’t possible to retain both as separate features, then the fire station feature should probably take precedence, since there’s a longer tradition of marking them on maps.
