Description

Steps to reproduce the behavior

  1. Open a grouped table view
  2. Double click on the right margin of the first-column's heading
  3. The column resizes only taking into account the top-level grouping

Expected behavior

The column should resize so that all cells in the first column are visible.

Investigate the column header resize logic in the table view component. Look for how double click triggers auto resize and why it only considers the top level grouping. Likely the calculation of cell widths does not account for grouped sub cells. Check the source code in the webapp directory, specifically files related to table/column resize. There are no linked PRs or comments yet, so the first step is to reproduce and trace the event handler.
