Description

Turning on and off "Embed Link Previews" by channel/room configuration would be nice. We post different RSS feeds to channels and on some channels a link preview is a kind of overhead.

Investigate how existing room settings are implemented, e.g., in 'packages/models' and 'packages/client' directories. Review how other toggle features like 'encryption' or 'read only' are added per channel. Look at comments in issue #7734 for any suggested approaches. Check the RoomSettings model in the database and the UI components for channel configuration.
