This raises a type error:

const recordWithStrings: Record<string, string> = {};

export const recordWithNumbers: Record<string, number> = {
  ...recordWithStrings,
};

and this doesn't:

const recordWithStrings: Record<string, string> = {};

export const recordWithNumbers: Record<string, number> = {
  extraProperty: 0,
  ...recordWithStrings,
};

Is there a sound reason for that?
