Goal

Integrate smart contracts with backend using Ethers.js.

Description

Use contract ABI and address to call blockchain functions.
Enable backend to trigger deposits, loans, and votes.

Deliverables

  • services/blockchainService.js
  • Helper: callFunction(name, args[])
  • Event listeners for blockchain events (LoanApproved, etc.)

Contributor guide

Research direction
Create a new file services/blockchainService.js using Ethers.js. Implement a helper function `callFunction(name, args[])` that uses the contract ABI and address to call blockchain functions. Also implement event listeners for blockchain events like LoanApproved. Test the integration with a local Ethereum node.
