Description

If only a query search parameter changes (either in the main URL or in the URL hash) if would be nice to have a mode which avoided recreating the models and instead just updated the data binding.

For example, going from:

http://server.com/path/path?server=blarg#route?param=foo to: http://server.com/path/path?server=blarg#route?param=bar

Research direction
Examine the app router source code to understand how models are created and bound to query parameters. Look for existing mechanisms for partial updates. Consider implementing a mode that avoids full model recreation by only updating data bindings when query parameters change. Test with URL transitions as described in the issue.
