https://github.com/airbnb/enzyme/pull/377 has started some discussion regarding our lack of tests covering composite components specifically. Just to be sure the PR discussion doesn't get derailed, I figured we could bring that conversation here.

Research direction
Review the discussion in PR #377 to understand the context. Identify composite components in enzyme's source code that are not fully covered by tests. Write unit tests for those components following existing testing patterns in the test directory.
