Start by examining structured dtype behavior at the Local level and the existing DistArray indexing path. Check how field names are represented and add focused coverage for structured dtypes, including indexing particular fields by name on DistArray. We haven't tested DistArrays with structured dtypes yet. I would guess that it mostly works at the Local level, but we definitely don't support indexing into particular "fields" by name on the DistArray side yet.
