Research direction

Start with the map script and its map-window behavior. Determine how the current room's center coordinates and red-circle position are handled; done means the map can remain fixed while the marker moves, with an optional setting to fit the map in the window.

RFC

Allow for a mode that fixes the position of the map in the map window and instead moves the red circle to the current room's center coordinates.

Context

We would like to be able to set the map view and still have the dot move. This would probably need to have an optional zoom setting to "fit" the map into the window as well.
