Description

For some machines, hibernation is broken resulting in Sleep Wake Failure when waking. Currently we recommend users disable hibernation until a more suitable solution is found:

sudo pmset -a hibernatemode 0

Research direction
Investigate the root cause of Sleep Wake Failure during hibernation with OpenCore. Review the current pmset workaround and explore patches to OpenCore's power management code. Look at similar issues in the OpenCore project and Apple's hibernation implementation. Focus on the kernel extensions and ACPI tables that handle wake from hibernation.
