Description: I would like to suggest adding a footer section to the website/project that displays key repository details. This will make the project more engaging and transparent for visitors.
Suggested Footer Content:
- ⭐ GitHub stars count
- 🍴 Forks count
- 👥 Number of contributors
- 📄 Link to contributing guidelines / documentation
- 🔗 Direct link to the repository
Benefits:
- Highlights the popularity and activity of the project
- Encourages users to star or fork the repo
- Provides quick access to important links (contributing, repo link, docs)
- Makes the overall design look more complete and professional
Optional Ideas:
- Auto-fetch stats via GitHub API for real-time updates
- Show “Last updated” date of the repo
