Research direction

No files or tests are named in the issue. Start by inspecting the package layout and packaging configuration to find where package data is declared; add the PEP 561 marker there and verify that a built distribution contains it and that downstream type checking can use the package annotations.

Written by the indexing model from the issue text.

Description

It seems MIP is fully typed. It does not include, however, the py.typed marker file, which is required to be PEP 561-compliant, and allow users of the library to type-check their code against the type annotations.
