Research direction

Start by cloning the repository and reproducing the issue on the reported Windows 10 and Android 7 setup. Combine the React Navigation dark theme with the React Native Paper dark theme as described, then inspect the resulting blue appearance and white error text. Done means the dark theme no longer produces the reported overall look changes.
