Start by reproducing the preset breakage with EasyEffects 8.0.8 and compare the reported install paths, ~/.config/easyeffects/output/ and ~/.local/share/easyeffects/output/. Then investigate the convolver warning that the IR filename is invalid. Done means the preset is installed in the current location and the convolver no longer silences the chain.

Description

Hi! I was using this preset just fine with EE 8.0.5 (or .6, I'm not sure), but upgrading to 8.0.8 caused breakage.

  1. The install path is no longer ~/.config/easyeffects/output/, but ~/.local/share/easyeffects/output/.
  2. The convolver just silences the entire chain. I do see the following warning in the console: 
    easyeffects[2431]: convolver.cpp:171        soe: "": irs filename is invalid. Entering passthrough mode...
    ...which could be related. I'll investigate further.
