Research direction

No files or tests are named. Reproduce writing to a nonexistent directory with factor-bundle and compare the behavior with browserify; then inspect the relevant output-path handling and existing tests to establish which behavior is intended.

Description

Not sure if this is a bug, but if I use browserify to try to write a file to a directory that doesn't yet exist, browserify will create the directory. factor-bundle, however, will throw an error. Is there any reason for the difference in behaviour between the two?
