Research direction

Reproduce the issue by creating a bottle, opening Install Programs, selecting Estlcam, and starting the installation. Check why Estlcam appears in the programs view but cannot launch or be browsed. Done means the installer places the application in the bottle and the Play and Browse Path actions work.

Description

I'm using Bottles on Zorin OS. It's a completely new install. If I create a bottle and go to the bottle -> Install Programs -> Estlcam, I get prompted to start installation. I click on Start Installation, the install completes, and it shows Estlcam on the programs view. If I click on the Play button to launch Estlcam, I get the "launching Estlcam" dialog, but nothing happens. The Play icon switches to Stop for a moment but then goes back to play. The application never launches.

If I go to the ellipsis menu for Estlcam and click Browse Path, I get an error:

It seems that it's not actually installing the application into the bottle.
