Research direction

Start by tracing how the Symfony form interface and API currently create records, then determine whether a hidden form field can identify an existing record. Clarify the expected field, update behavior, validation, and security constraints before choosing an entry point. Done means the requested update flow is specified and covered by appropriate tests.

Description

I'm just thinking out loud in here, would it be possible/feasible to pass a hidden field into a form that updates a record values instead of creating a new one?
