https://bazel.build/install/ide#c_language_family_c_c_objective-c_objective-c_and_cuda refers to https://github.com/hedronvision/bazel-compile-commands-extractor, which appears to be abandoned (bugs and PRs are ignored, incompatible with Bazel 9). https://registry.bazel.build/modules/wolfd_bazel_compile_commands appears to be a viable alternative (and has the advantage of being released to the BCR).
