Description

It seems that some unused functions/code fragments are still in the created executables. Find a way to remove them.

Contributor guide

Research direction
Investigate compiler flags like ffunction sections and fdata sections, and linker flag gc sections to remove unused code. Check if the build system (CMake) supports these flags. Experiment with adding them to the executable targets.
