  • Sometimes I want to just look up a card that is filled wirh cloze deletions or a table which is difficult to read in edit mode. I would then have to change it to preview mode and turn the card to see what I want.

  • It would be very nice if there is an option to let card browser open a card directly in preview mode. If there is a button to enter edit mode from it, that would be also great.

Examine the card browser and preview mode code in the AnkiDroid repository. Look for the current behavior where double tapping a card opens it in edit mode. Investigate how to add a setting (e.g., in preferences) to default to preview mode. Consider the existing 'Preview' button functionality.
