It has come up as a question on forum abd could be a good sample to have showcasing a few different approaches as well ( maybe 1- hosted .pdf file, 2- PDF in Google Docs 3- Using pdf.js, etc..)

Research direction
This issue requests adding a sample for embedding PDF in AMP. The repository is deprecated and has been merged into amp.dev.
