Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

SteamOS install halts and does not continue/retry after "[25.671184] pci 0000:00:1f.3: deferred probe pending: sof-audio-pci-intel-ptl: init of i915 and HDMI codec failed". Both the June and July images give the same result. The September image does not boot at all.

Describe what you expected should happen and what did happen.
Expected: Install SteamOS successfully
Actual: Installation halted due to i915 and HDMI codec failure

Steps for reproducing this issue:
  1. Install any repair SteamOS image onto bootable USB (Used Rufus)
  2. Insert USB into MSI Claw EX 8 AI
  3. Power on into Bios
  4. Turn off Secure Boot
  5. Set boot priority to USB HARD DISK (Bootable USB)
  6. Save and Exit Bios
