Research direction

Start by reviewing the existing Week 4 notes and exercises, then compare them with the Week 3 material to assess the proposed redistribution. Done means the advanced OOP topics are covered clearly, useful class-design examples are included, and the balance between the two weeks is addressed.

Written by the indexing model from the issue text.

Description

More advanced OOP including

  • Inheritance
  • Polymorphism
  • virtual methods / abstract classes
  • RAII
  • Examples of useful class designs ("design patterns" with less jargon)

Some of this can potentially go earlier (e.g. week 3) if this turns out to be overloaded and week 3 is too empty.
