Research direction

Open lib/css/exports/_stacks-constants-type.less at the referenced font-stack lines and review how Cascadia Mono is selected for monospaced text. Reproduce the italic rendering shown in the issue, then update the font choice or fallback so italic monospace text is readable and verify the resulting styling.

Description

When you install Microsoft Terminal, it comes with a font: Cascadia (Code / Mono). Stacks uses Cascadia Mono for monospaced fonts:

https://github.com/StackExchange/Stacks/blob/7a5e3d0e196fd76efa80aa3f11cc31be439745dd/lib/css/exports/_stacks-constants-type.less#L22-L24

Now that font has a peculiarity: in italics, it becomes cursive:

let's foo the bars

This renders like this:

And I don't find that too readable. Could you consider omitting this font on Windows, or selecting the non-cursive variant for italics? Until the latter is released, I'd prefer Consolas.
