Currently the navigation tabs are buttons, which do update navigation, but cannot be right or middle clicked to open in a new tab. This is a small but convenient feature that's helpful for quickly bringing multiple views up.

This would require:

  • Convert the navigation buttons to hyperlinks
  • Define appropriate CSS styling to maintain desired behavior
  • Existing JS hooks should work to maintain current behavior when clicking, but enable following the hyperlink for new-window/tab behavior when right/middle clicking.
