Description

Thanks for making a portable version for Windows, I and other portable software users really appreciate it. Right now it's kind of semi portable, because settings, log files and youtube-dl are stored outside of program directory (appdata). Could you please make so that all the needed files are stored in one folder (program folder), thanks.

Research direction
Examine the application's configuration file management, likely in a file like settings.py or config.py. Look for how it determines the app data directory (e.g., using os.environ['APPDATA']). Check if there is a portable marker file or environment variable that could be used to switch to storing files in the program directory. Also review youtube dl's own portable mode implementation for consistency. The goal is to make all persisted files (settings, logs, youtube dl binary) save relative to the executable path when in portable mode.
