  • VS Code Version: 1.84.2
  • OS Version: Ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Install xmonad
  2. Open up VS code
  3. Press F11 (File, Edit, Selection, View ... bar disappears)
  4. Try pressing F11 again (the bar does not reappear, and a lot of stuff seems to break -- hard to describe the behavior)

Debug the full screen toggle logic in VS Code on Linux with xmonad. Check if the window state change event is correctly handled. Look at the 'window.fullScreen' API and how the menu bar visibility is toggled. Possibly an issue with window manager not sending proper notifications.
