Research direction
Start by examining existing language grammar files in the monaco editor source, e.g., src/basic languages/. Understand the TextMate grammar format used by monaco. Then create a new grammar file for MATLAB, testing with the monaco playground. Look at previous PRs for adding languages for reference.
