  • VS Code Version: 1.68.1
  • OS Version: Windows_NT x64 10.0.19044

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Create a object.
/** @namespace a */
var a = {};
  1. Add a property to object in function (IIFE)
(function(){
  /** @type {boolean} */
  a.b = false;
})();

It's show any when hover a.b, not boolean. And you will not see the IntelliSense when typing a.. image image
