Research direction
Reproduce the flow in project tester-ws-1/tc05_relations: open a parent with multiple children, select a child, then use Edit Feature → Edit Geometry. Trace the children-list navigation and the Edit Geometry entry point to see why the selected child returns to the parent list. Done means the child’s map canvas opens centered on its geometry without requiring the back button.

Description
Description
When opening a child feature from a parent feature's relation list and tapping Edit Feature → Edit Geometry, the app navigates back to the children list under the parent instead of opening the map canvas for the child feature's geometry. The user must tap the back button < to reach the correct canvas. This only occurs when there are multiple children and the child is selected from the list.
Environment
[x] PROD
Application (+ app version, build, operating system)
- Android app: 2026.2.0 (Pixel 9, Android 16)
- iOS app: 2026.2.0 (iOS 26.0)
Steps to reproduce
- Open project
tester-ws-1/tc05_relations - Tap a parent feature that has multiple child features
- In the parent form, tap one of the child features from the children list
- Tap Edit Feature
- Tap Edit Geometry
Actual results
- The app navigates back to the children list under the parent, not to the selected child feature's canvas
- User must tap the back button
<to get to the correct canvas for the child feature
Expected results
- Tapping Edit Geometry from a child feature form should open the map canvas centred on the child feature's geometry ready for editing
