Description

OS: Windows 10

Issue Descriptions: Managing volume between applications can be a bit of a balancing act. Setting the master volume to a reasonable value, the app volume to a reasonable value, and the volume on the connected amplifier to a reasonable value.

Since the volume slider is only shown when I hover my the mouse over the volume icon this makes the balancing act much harder. I'm often left wondering whether the fact that my volume is lower/higher than I would like depends on the setting in the player or the master control or the amplifier.

I would love for the app to display a volume slider somewhere on the screen when you change the volume via keyboard shortcuts. Just showing the built in slider as if I was hovering the mouse would be a good improvement. Far better for me would be if a stand-alone volume slider could be shown on-screen when the volume changes via a hotkey.

With exactly the same motivation I would also prefer for the volume slider in the UI to always be shown if there is room for it. Or for there to be an option to always show it.

Steps to Reproduce: Change the volume via a hotkey.
