Research direction

Start by reviewing the previous attempt in pull request #756 and the referenced VirtualHID-macOS repository, then inspect how Sunshine currently handles macOS input. Done means reliable gamepad support on macOS, with the required approach and developer-account dependency resolved.

Dependencies

If we go with the Kexts route, it will require a Apple developer account ($100/yr) which will probably happen after LizardByte is incorporated as an LLC.
