Describe the feature

As requested in the discussion #2926, would love for my Smartspace At a Glance widget to show Islamic date for convenience. Currently i have to go into my cell service prover's app just to see the date and it's kind of inconvenient.

Why would it be useful to add?

Convenience for a few of us that it matters to, to quickly looking up the date to track holidays without having to use Google or separate apps.

Did the feature exist in Lawnchair Legacy?

No

Start by examining the Persian calendar code to understand the integration pattern (likely in the Smartspace related files). Then, research Islamic Hijri calendar conversion libraries or Java's HijriChronology (if available) to implement the date display. Note that this issue is currently assigned, so coordinate with the assignee or maintainers before starting any work.
