This "alternative to social media" app is a small exercise in app creation. I wanted to see what it would be like making an app just by typing in "Rails.new" without any qualifiers, and using the "scaffolding" command lines to create models etc. It was a learning experience, but I feel like I know Rails even better now that I've done it!
